Turning Bold Ideas into Real-World Social Impact
As a North American, I have spent 28 years forging a unique international career working across multiple sectors. My background encompasses connecting people and ideas to drive collective social impact, achieved through spearheading strategic partnerships and fundraising efforts across higher education, civic engagement and strategic partnerships.
I’ve raised £1.2 million in business partnerships funding from corporates for The London School of Economics and Political Science. I was later headhunted to join King's Business School and build out its global partnerships function by securing strategic partnerships with Chatham House, London Tech Week, ReD Associates and The Prince’s Trust.
Before transitioning into education and civic engagement, my work was rooted in the creative industries. As a consultant, I provided strategic guidance to brands such as Levi’s, Sonos, UBER, Africa Wildlife Foundation, K-Swiss and Pernod Ricard, offering insights into global cultural trends and fostering networks and community. Notably, I helped secure post-production funding for the ground-breaking feature film Rafiki, the first Kenyan film to be invited to screen at the Cannes Film Festival.
I consistently leverage my strategic insights, analytical skills and creative thinking to empower organisations to seek innovative solutions to succeed in complex environments and promote social justice. I thrive working on projects where I'm able to utilise my experience and skills as a systems thinker to accelerate the impact of talented individuals and teams.
