PEGGY JEAN-LOUIS

PEGGY JEAN-LOUISPEGGY JEAN-LOUISPEGGY JEAN-LOUIS

Peggy has demonstrated remarkable skill in securing corporate partnerships through her work facilitating meetings with key funders. Her proposal writing support significantly enhanced our ability to communicate our vision effectively to potential donors.

Her approach to relationship-building is strategic yet authentic, focusing on meaningful connections rather than transactional engagements. What distinguishes Peggy is her supportive approach – she doesn't simply provide recommendations but empowers our team through accompaniment, championing their ideas and helping bring their vision to fruition.

Maggie Ainley, Executive Director, Unyoke Foundation

Peggy and Maria were incredibly helpful in supporting me with the organisation of stakeholder engagement roundtables on two occasions. They provided invaluable guidance on designing and organising the event effectively, selecting the right audience, and clarifying objectives.

Additionally, they assisted me in translating academic insights for practitioner audiences, building my profile beyond academia, and coaching me on how to approach encounters with practitioners. One key outcome of this roundtable was the establishment of a strategic partnership with the British Standards Institute.

Dr Gabriela Gutierrez Huerter O, Associate Professor of International Management, King’s Business School

When Peggy first applied to LSE, she did not have a traditional corporate fundraising background. I saw the potential in her background and her commitment from her cover letter, fought to shortlist her, and after her interview, her appointment was unanimous.

She is honestly one of the best hires I have ever made, and like me, she will strain every sinew to make sure resources flow for purpose, that purpose being Africa and the continent’s great talent, potential and existing strengths and innovation.

Dr Felicity Jones, Former Head of Foundations and Business Partnerships, The London School of Economics and Political Science

Peggy is a creative thinker and brings a lot of new ideas to the table. At LSE she collaborated with many other divisions (e.g. Exec Education, Research Division and Careers) on business engagement opportunities. She is able to see the big picture and the long-term strategy of partnership opportunities. She is able to professionally deliver the paperwork/finance side of any negotiation (e.g. some complicated negotiations involving IP). Peggy is committed to her work and fully engaged.

Peggy is a fantastic negotiator, and this stems from her thorough research into the business partnerships landscape and from her analysis of the motivational basis of any partnership. She also fully utilises her network to seek out best practice in other organisations (for example, in US universities).

Dr Sarah Flew, Director of Development, Royal College of Physicians
